CONNECT for Conservation Education is a Philippines-based coalition of conservation NGOs and education agencies that innovates, champions, and broadens access to experiential learning programs in support of nature conservation and sustainable societies.

The CONNECT platform centralizes access to tried-and-true, peer-reviewed, collaboratively developed, easy-to-implement experiential learning modules that bridge the perceived gap between humans and nature.

CONNECT's goal is to increase the number and real-world impact of conservation education programs in the Philippines and beyond.

 

Current partners in curricula and network development:

Partners: Lamave, Coral Cay, School of the Seas, Peacecorps Volunteers, Danjugan Island Marine Education Center

Methods:

  • Connect conservation education programs from throughout the Philippines to share educational materials and programs

  • Create easy-to-implement, best-practice-based modules that can be adopted by any conservation NGO, in line with Department of Education curricula

  • Launch online platform for materials sharing

  • Lobby for experiential conservation education throughout the Philippines and beyond.
